About

We’re taught to save for homes, retirement, children, tuition, the unexpected. This is about the unexpected.

Our savings accounts are more than repositories of responsibility or symbols of success. They are windows into ourselves. Responsive organisms unto themselves, emptied for the things that are most important to us. Responsive to our best, and worst of times. A waterline of our life.

These are the stories of those moments. The ebbs and flows that necessitated all the money we had, for better or worse.
